I believe according to history my ancestors came in I think around 1780 from Konigsberg Poland to South Africa, I also believe there surname was Grunewald in Poland. It later changed to Groenewald. My question, is the surname Grunewald still known in Poland, if so is there maybe a town or village where this surname is well known.
Please give me information a sI am planning a visit to Poland in the future.
