Taxi / hire driver Muroran - Sapporo

Visiting on Diamond Princess cruie boat 8th May. Can we hire a taxi/driver to visit local village and volcano attractions as well as getting to Sapporo for the Cherry Blossom. Is this possible and what cost.

I visited Muroran on cruise ship in Sept. last year. Are you all ok after the terrible disaster in Japan. We are very concerned for all of you.
